Thank you for taking the time to browse my work. With a background in art and art history, having graduated from Drew University in Madison, New Jersey, in 2007, I specialize in painting with watercolor and acrylics.
A Passion for Portraiture
I have a deep passion for portraiture, as I am endlessly fascinated by the nuances of human emotion, identity, and storytelling that can be conveyed through a single expression. My goal is to go beyond mere likeness, capturing the true feelings, the essence of my subjects – their inner worlds, unspoken emotions, and the unique energy that makes them who they are. Through careful attention to detail, color, and form, I strive to create portraits that feel alive, evoking a sense of connection and resonance between the viewer and the subject.

Love of Art
Beyond portraiture, I have a general love of art that extends to botanical paintings, where delicate details capture the essence of nature, and still-life compositions that explore light, texture, and symbolism. I’m also drawn to conceptual pieces that challenge perception and invite deeper interpretation, as well as abstract works that convey emotion through color, form, and movement. Each approach offers a different way to explore creativity, storytelling, and the beauty of the visual world.
Driven By Mind-Body Connection
With my experience as a massage therapist, I have cultivated a strong interest in that mind-body connection, which often influences my creative work. Also inspired by nature, as well as true stories of the human spirit, I seek to explore themes of resilience, connection, and beauty through both art and storytelling.
Beyond my visual art, I am an avid reader, and I am working on developing my writing skills.
